Your Warehouse™
Your Warehouse™ is another innovation by ABC Packaging Direct that was designed to help clients reduce their packaging and handling costs. Your Warehouse™ enables our customers to inventory several months of material that is released to them off of forecasts, scheduled releases, or as needed. By ordering in larger volumes our clients receive better overall pricing. Your Warehouse™ allows our clients to use their production floor for "production" not "storage," which is the foundation of "lean manufacturing" the process that is winning efficiency and productivity awards for companies such as Dell Computer and Honda of America.
With our ABC Automatic Replenishment Program™, our clients have a pre-determined number of items (containers, bags, film, etc) that need to be on-hand 24-7. Once we hit that number or the "replenishment point," a new order is placed automatically. Customers receive daily, weekly, and monthly reports so they always know what they have available.
Our ABC Safety Stock Program™ was developed for clients who absolutely, positively need us to hold an item (container, pallet load of specialty film, collapsible containers, custom dunnage, etc) so they never have to worry about lead times again. For clients that have a unique product with an extended lead time, knowing that we have safety stock for their critical parts provides an extra level of support that we are happy to provide.
ABC's Just-In-Time Delivery Program™ delivers material off of forecasts, electronic releases, or as needed so our clients can run their inventory to virtually nothing and have daily, weekly, or monthly deliveries just-in-time to replenish what they need. Our clients minimize their storage and handling costs while maximizing their productivity.
