American Built Containment Systems (ABC Systems) is pleased to offer Virtuweld clamshells in our clamshell stocking program. These clamshells have the security and appeal of a welded clamshell with all of the benefits of being unsealed. The unique patented Virtuweld locking system enables the back of the blister to manually snap into the front, using dynamic retention to give a secure, undetectable seal. The stitching effect incorporated into the Virtuweld designs completes the illusion that the blisters are actually sealed – without automation or additional costs!

Virtuweld clamshells are versatile and economical, and can be customized to your own specifications or sold as stock items right off the shelf. We carry seven different sizes of Virtuweld in stock, and some stock cavities as well. If your product fits one of our stock sizes but the cavity isn’t as tight as you would like it, we can shape a cavity to fit your product for a one-time minimal charge. All of our own design, tooling, and production are done in-house.

The Virtuweld clamshell is suitable for a variety of consumer products in the electronics, hardware, automotive, do-it-yourself, leisure and cellular industries – just to name a few. Your products have total security in the retail environment, without staples, welding, bottlenecks or adhesive tools!
